Summary:

At a young age (30) his village was attacked by orcs. Being but a child, he ran away through the woods and soon became lost. Shortly thereafter he became a wanderer. Traveling from village to village Wren seeks a way back to his lost homeland (though unknown to him, the village was destroyed, and those who survived decided to leave and find a new, safer home).

Wren stands far shorter than most people, around the height of a 10 year old boy. His hair is azure blue and goes down to his shoulders. He is exceptionally fast and can jump incredibly high even though he could not seem to master magic. Unfortunately, he tires quickly and is in general physically weak. His voice is deceptively young though he has experience that is beyond that of many men. Often times he is believed to be a mere child because of this though during these last few years he has gained enough experience of the real world not to be that naive.

Wren's only true possessions are a single-edged long sword handed down from his father and the cloak that he wore when tragedy struck. He has preserved both with unceasing care. His blade is just as sharp as they day it was forged and shines as if it had never weathered a single fight. His cloak he has managed to keep in one piece though time and hardship have caused it to wear and fray.

As he travels, Wren works on the swordsmanship taught to him by his parents. Because of his abnormally small stature, Wren usually must wield his traditional long sword with two hands. To gain proper leverage, he places his left hand on the back of his sword to help guide his attacks. Such a style confuses most opponents who are accustomed to facing traditional fighting and cannot they easily anticipate or counter his moves. To the observer, Wren's sword seems to dance from within his cloak with abnormal grace, striking out with precision and speed. In a fight, however, he is more likely to use surprise to his advantage disabling an unsuspecting opponent.
